The Good Sport Award puts the Soccer Green Card concept into practice!
When a player does something defining exceptional sporting conduct, wait until an appropriate time and present the Green Card to them during the course of the game.
After the game has concluded, fill out the details of the exceptional behavior that was displayed and provide the Good Sport Award to the player so that they can have it to keep.
We have heard many stories from players who were given a Green Card in one of our refereed soccer games where the memory is one of their best in their time spent playing sports, and the Good Sport Award gives the players a physical, tangible token of the experience that will continue to inspire positive sporting conduct in the future to further enhance the game.
